Korie said that the provider/enrollees programme aimed to gather feedback from healthcare providers to improve its services.

He stated that the programme’s objective was to bridge the gap between Sunu Health and its providers, ensuring better health outcomes and greater client satisfaction.

He emphasised the importance of feedback in enabling the organisation to identify areas of improvement.

Korie mentioned some key challenges faced by the company, which included Payment Issues, Claims Submission, Polypharmacy, and the Referral Process.

He added that Sunu Health had addressed concerns regarding payment of capitation and fee-for-service claims, assuring providers that outstanding payments would be settled.

The CEO emphasised the need for prompt claim submission, adding that the claims would always be verified to prevent fraudulent claims.

He stressed the importance of prescribing necessary medication, highlighting that unnecessary prescriptions could harm clients.

Korie encouraged providers to refer clients to appropriate facilities when necessary and urged them to improve their healthcare services to satisfy their clients.

He assured that the organisation would continue to review its tariff every six months to account for inflationary trends and upload evidence of payments on its platform.

Also, Dr Ifeoma Chikezie, the Regional Controller of Sunu Health Nigeria, South-South and South-East, stated that the program provided an opportunity for feedback from hospitals and clients, enabling the organisation to identify areas of improvement.

Chikezie described Sunu as a technology-driven organisation that would continue leveraging technology to improve its services and provide better care for its clients.

According to her, the organisation would improve access to healthcare services for its clients through effective communication.

In his remarks, Mr Ezekiel Olorunmo, the Controller of Sunu Assurances Nigeria PLC, said that Sunu Group offered comprehensive insurance solutions for hospitals.

Olorunmo highlighted the importance of professional indemnity insurance for hospitals, noting that “it covers professional negligence and errors that may occur during medical treatment.”

He urged the hospitals to access the organisation’s services to manage their insurance policies, provide financial protection against unforeseen events, and protect against fire-related damages and losses.
