LSSTF Donates Patrol Vehicle to Strengthen Airport Security

Lagos: The Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF) has donated an additional operational vehicle to the Airport Police Command to bolster security within the aviation environment.

Command Spokesperson ASP Mohammed Adeola, in a statement on Saturday, said the vehicle was formally presented by LSSTF Administrative Director, Mr. Degbola Lewis. He noted that the donation reflects the Trust Fund’s sustained commitment to supporting law enforcement agencies across Lagos State.

Lewis emphasized that operational assets remain central to improving the state’s security architecture and enhancing effective policing.

Receiving the vehicle on behalf of the Commissioner of Police, Airport Command, Mrs. Olufunke Ogunbode, were CSP Daramola Kazeem and SP Oladipupo Taiwo.

Commissioner Ogunbode expressed gratitude to the Lagos State Government and LSSTF, describing the gesture as a boost to patrol coverage and rapid response capacity. She said the vehicle would enhance passenger and personnel safety and protect critical aviation infrastructure.

Ogunbode reaffirmed the command’s commitment to effective policing, inter‑agency collaboration, and sustained protection of lives and property.
