Abuja: The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) has reaffirmed its commitment to providing prompt, efficient services to its customers and stakeholders.
In a statement on its website on Friday, the commission expressed its commitment to upholding public trust and supporting Nigeria’s economic development.
It announced plans to mark its 35th anniversary in February, with a series of activities.
According to the statement, the activities aim to celebrate the commission’s contributions to national development, corporate governance, and ease of doing business.
“The anniversary celebration, tagged “CAC@35,” will commence on Feb. 9, with the theme 35 Years of Upholding Public Trust through Provision of Excellent Service Delivery.
“It is designed to reflect on the commission’s institutional journey, promote transparency and highlight its role in strengthening Nigeria’s business environment,” it said.
According to the statement, anniversary activities will begin with a Muslim prayer session on Friday, Feb. 6, at the National Mosque during the Jumma’at prayer.
“This will be followed by a thanksgiving service on Sunday, Feb. 8, at the National Ecumenical Centre.
“The CAC official anniversary lecture, titled “CAC as Gateway to the Nigerian Economy,” will hold on Feb. 9, at the Abuja Continental Hotel,” it said.
It said the commission would also conduct visits to an orphanage and an Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) camp on Feb. 12 at the Area 1 IDP Camp in Durumi and the Hope for Survival Orphanage Home in Gishiri.

The statement said that an ICT Day, themed “ICT for Today and Tomorrow: The Public Sector Perspective,” would be held virtually on Feb. 11 via digital platforms such as Zoom and Google Meet.
It said that the anniversary activities would culminate in a dinner and award night scheduled for Feb. 13, at the Abuja Continental Hotel.
