2027: APC, APGA Join Forces to Deliver Anambra for Tinubu – State Chair

by Peter Otutu

Awka: The Anambra APC Chairman, Basil Ejidike, says the party is collaborating with APGA through joint activities and strategic alliances to secure electoral support and deliver President Bola Tinubu’s victory in the 2027 presidential election in the state.

Ejidike said this on Tuesday during the APC stakeholders’ meeting in Awka.

Meanwhile, the incumbent Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, was elected under the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).

Addressing the stakeholders at the meeting, the chairman said: “We are working with the ruling APGA to make sure that we deliver 95 per cent of Anambra votes to the APC and President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 Presidential Election.”

He reiterated party support for Tinubu in the 2027 Presidential Election.

“I move the motion that we, Anambra APC, adopt President Bola Tinubu as our Presidential Candidate in 2027,” Ejidike said.

The motion was seconded by party leaders, including Nicholas Ukachukwu, APC Governorship Candidate, and his running mate, Uche Ekwunife.

The chairman further said that the meeting was convened to organise members at the unit, ward, and local government levels for the upcoming ward congress, which starts on Wednesday.

Also speaking, Ukachukwu underscored the need for party discipline and unity among members if the APC must win the presidential election and other elections in the state.

“Anambra APC will thrive when we work together and uphold shared values.

“We joined the APC to make the party better in Anambra, and not to cause confusion or chase away the people we met in the party,” Ukachukwu said.

He frowned at the situation where an APC stalwart would defect to another party, return later and still wanted to maintain his position, instead of queueing up to give others a chance.
