Abuja: Nigeria will play in a Four-Nation Invitational Tournament in Amman, Jordan, next month.
The tournament, featuring Iran, Jordan, and Costa Rica, is designed to provide each team with high-level international exposure. The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) on Friday in Abuja, said the competition aligns with the federation’s technical development plans.
“This tournament offers the Super Eagles quality opposition and valuable international experience,” he said.
Olajire noted that facing teams from different confederations would strengthen tactical adaptability and squad depth ahead of major competitions. The match will be held at the Amman International Stadium on March 27.
On March 27, Nigeria will face Iran at Amman International Stadium, while Jordan will play Costa Rica at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium, both in Amman.
On March 31, Jordan will play Nigeria at Amman International Stadium, and Costa Rica will play Iran at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium.
Organisers will soon announce the official match schedule with kick-off times for all fixtures.
