Türkiye Urges Immediate Ceasefire in Escalating U.S.–Israel–Iran Conflict

by Toye Faleye

Istanbul: Türkiye urged the U.S., Israel, and Iran to halt hostilities immediately in the conflict that began early Saturday.

The Turkish Foreign Ministry expressed deep concern over actions against international law and condemned provocations that escalate violence and threaten civilians.

The ministry also warned that the developments, which began with Israel and U.S. attacks on Iran and have since involved Iran targeting third countries, are of a nature that risks global stability.

Ankara reiterated that regional issues should be resolved through peaceful means and expressed its readiness to provide necessary support for mediation.
