Maradun, Zamfara State: Bello Matawalle, former Defence Minister, voiced confidence in President Bola Tinubu’s victory in 2027, citing growing public trust.
Addressing thousands of supporters in Maradun South Ward, Zamfara, Matawalle endorsed President Tinubu as the APC’s 2027 presidential candidate.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reported that thousands of APC supporters turned out to back President Tinubu’s second-term bid.
Matawalle strongly expressed his confidence and highlighted the promising electoral prospects of President Tinubu and APC candidates nationwide.
“President Bola Tinubu and other APC candidates will win decisively,” he said.
He described the large turnout as reflecting democracy’s strength and demonstrating growing public confidence in the APC-led administration under President Tinubu.
Matawalle noted that the people of Zamfara remain committed to the APC and fully supportive of the Tinubu administration.
Matawalle also expressed optimism about the party’s prospects, expecting it to achieve sweeping victories in all elective positions in the state and beyond during the forthcoming elections.
