Abuja: Fans and supporters of Nigerian music megastar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, have continued to share heartfelt messages as he celebrates his wedding to Chioma Rowland.
The highly anticipated wedding took place on Sunday in Miami, United States.
This white wedding followed a traditional wedding celebration held in 2024 and a court wedding in 2023.
The ceremony in Miami was attended by family, friends, top political figures, business executives, and stars from the entertainment industry, both from Nigeria and beyond.
Notable artists in attendance included Adekunle Gold, Teni, and Zlatan Ibile, who were also present at the couple’s pre-wedding dinner.
In trendy videos shared online, Davido spoke with visible emotion, describing Chioma as his “love, peace, and home.”
He said, “Chioma, I have been on many stages, but this is the most nervous I have ever been. You are my love, my peace, my home. You walked into my life quietly and became the loudest and most beautiful part of it. God sent you to show me what unconditional love feels like.
“We’ve known love that only people can dream of and pain that only we can understand, and we are still here. I promise to protect you,” Davido expressed.
The ‘Unavailable’ artist revealed that the grand wedding cost a total of $3.7 million and paid a heartfelt tribute to his late son, Ifeanyi Adeleke, by wearing specially crafted cufflinks bearing the boy’s image.
