Lagos: Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) says 34 ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods are scheduled to arrive at Apapa, Lekki Deep Sea, and Tincan Island ports in Lagos between June 4 and June 6.
The NPA specified in its Daily Shipping Position released on Wednesday that these vessels are currently en route and expected within this time frame.
It said 13 of the vessels would carry containers, while the other 21 would transport a mix of goods, including frozen fish, fuel products, bulk commodities, and general cargo.
The authority noted 12 vessels had arrived and were waiting to discharge containers and bulk commodities, including fuel and fertiliser.According to NPA, 25 ships are presently berthed and actively discharging cargoes at the Lekki Deep Sea, Apapa, and Tincan Island ports.
