Engineer Michael Adeyanju, the Director-General of Imole Progressive Network (IPN), has joined well-meaning Nigerians and the good people of Ondo State, particularly the sons and daughters of Ondo North Senatorial District, to celebrate yet another Democracy Day, June 12.
In his duly signed goodwill message, he expresses heartfelt greetings to every son and daughter of Ondo North Senatorial District.
His words: “On this historic day, June 12th, I extend my heartfelt greetings to every son and daughter of Ondo North Senatorial District.”
“Today, we commemorate a pivotal moment in our nation’s democratic journey, a day that reminds us of the enduring power of the people’s will and the sacrifices made to pursue justice, equity, and true freedom,” he said.
The All Progressives Congress chieftain says June 12 is more than a date. He says, “It symbolises hope, resilience, and the unshakable belief that Nigeria can, and must, work for all its citizens.
“It reflects the spirit of unity and courage that lives in the hearts of our people, especially here in Ondo North, where progress and community strength remain our pride,” he posits.
He reiterates the commitment of Imole Progressive Network to good governance, grassroots empowerment, and inclusive development.
“As the Director General of the Imole Progressive Network, I stand with you in reaffirming our collective commitment to good governance, grassroots empowerment, and inclusive development,” he maintained.
Adeyanju said leaders must continue to radiate light to shine the light against corruption and all forms of societal ills and remain beacons of hope to their followers and for a brighter future for our children and the children yet unborn.
He says his organisation is “Imole,” which means ‘light,’ and we must continue to shine that light against corruption and apathy toward a brighter future for our children.
“Let us honour the heroes of our democracy not just with remembrance but with renewed action. Let us build bridges, not walls. Let us speak up for the voiceless, lift the vulnerable, and work hand in hand to make Ondo North a beacon of opportunity and progress,” the Eriti-Akoko-born engineer, technocrat and philanthropist par excellence, posits.
