Ilorin:  Gov. AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara has commiserated with the people of Idofian in Ifelodun Local Government Area on the passing of the Oludofian, Oba Muhammed Jamiu Omikunle II.

In a statement, his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Rafiu Ajakaye, on Thursday, AbdulRazaq said the transition of the second-class traditional ruler was an incalculable loss to the people of the community.

The governor urged the community and the family of the deceased to accept this sad development as an act of God and take solace in his legacy of peace and stability that he brought to the community during his short reign.

Gov. AbdulRazaq prayed for Allaah to admit the late traditional ruler to al-jannah Firdaus and uphold his family and the community.

Oba Muhammed Jamiu died on Thursday, one year and six months after his ascension to the throne.
