Abuja: In a move aimed at broadening access to federal career opportunities, the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire, and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has extended its online recruitment deadline to August 11.
This extension provides additional time for applicants across Nigeria eager to join the nation’s paramilitary forces and reinforces the board’s commitment to a fair, transparent, and inclusive process.
The announcement is contained in a statement by the Secretary to the board, retired Maj.-Gen. Abdulmalik Jubril, on Sunday in Abuja.
“The board wishes to notify the general public that the closing date for applications for its ongoing recruitment exercise has been extended by one week.
“The recruitment portal, which was initially set to close on Aug.4, will now remain open until Monday, August 11”, Jubril said.
He said that the recruitment extension was geared towards providing additional opportunities for applicants willing to enlist in any of the paramilitary services.
“Applicants are hereby reminded that the authentic portal address remains htpps://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng,” he said.
The online recruitment exercise was initially slated to commence on July 2, before being rescheduled to July 14, and then to its final commencement on Aug. 21.
The board reiterated that its recruitment process was free as it remained committed to ensuring a fair and transparent process.
