Abuja, Nigeria: As Muslims across the country commemorate Eid-ul-Mawlid, the All Progressives Congress (APC) has called on Nigerians to embrace the occasion as a moment for reflection, reconciliation, and renewed commitment to national unity.

Mr Felix Morka, APC National Publicity Secretary, appealed in a statement congratulating the Muslim Ummah and all Nigerians on the occasion of Eid-ul-Mawlid.

Eid-ul-Mawlid commemorates the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad.

“The life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad offer enduring guidance and timeless lessons of peace, unity, justice, compassion, tolerance, and moral leadership,” Morka stated.

He added that the Prophet’s message of reconciliation, fairness, and compassion for the poor and vulnerable urges Nigerians to work together for unity.

According to him, the values also promote accountability, kindness to the less privileged, and peaceful coexistence within Nigeria’s diverse society.

Morka said these noble values were fully aligned with the core vision of the Renewed Hope Agenda under President Bola Tinubu’s leadership.

He assured Nigerians that the Tinubu administration remained committed to rebuilding public trust and strengthening democratic institutions.

The spokesman further said the government was also dedicated to expanding economic opportunities and improving the living conditions of Nigerians.

“As we mark this year’s Eid-ul-Mawlid, our great party calls on Nigerians to rededicate themselves to these virtues and pray for lasting peace,” he said.

“We wish the Muslim Ummah a blessed and fulfilling Eid-ul-Mawlid,” Morka added.
