Tinubu Embarks on Working Visit to Lagos

Abuja (Nigeria): President Bola Tinubu arrived in Lagos on Friday for a working visit, as Nigeria prepares for a low-key  65th Independence Anniversary.

Mr Bayo Onanuga, Presidential Spokesperson, issued this in a statement on Friday in Abuja.

‎Tinubu travelled to Lagos after attending the coronation of the new Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Ladoja, in Oyo State.

‎While in Lagos, the President is expected to engage with key private sector leaders and senior government officials.

‎He will travel to Imo on Tuesday to inaugurate projects executed by Gov. Hope Uzodimma.

‎‎As part of the Independence anniversary, the President will also commission the remodelled National Theatre, Lagos, which has been renamed the Wole Soyinka Centre for Culture and the Creative Arts.
