Lagos: The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) says 16 ships laden with petroleum products, food items and other goods are expected to arrive at Apapa and Tin-Can Island ports in Lagos.
NPA, in its Daily Shipping Position, on Tuesday, said that the expected vessels would arrive from Oct. 27 to Oct. 29.
It said that six of the expected ships carried crude oil, five carried aviation fuel, and the remaining five carried gasoline, diesel, gas oil, and various products.
The document noted that two ships had arrived at the ports, awaiting berthing for general cargo and bulk.
19 ships are at the ports discharging general cargoes, bulk wheat, bulk gypsum, containers and petrol.
