Abuja: President Bola Tinubu has sworn in two newly appointed ministers — Dr Bernard Doro from Plateau and Dr Kingsley Udeh (SAN) from Enugu State, charging them to uphold efficiency, transparency, and results-driven governance as they assume their portfolios in a critical phase of national development.
A brief swearing-in ceremony was held at the Council Chambers of the State House in Abuja, shortly before the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting commenced, attended by all cabinet members.
Tinubu urged the newly appointed ministers to bring their wealth of experience to bear in the discharge of their duties, stressing the importance of efficiency and service delivery.

Doro, a pharmacist and lawyer, replaces Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, former Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, who now serves as the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Udeh fills the vacancy created by the resignation of former Minister of Science, Innovation, and Technology, Uche Nnaji, who recently stepped down amid controversies surrounding his academic credentials.
Udeh previously served as the Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice in Enugu State before being appointed Minister.
The two new ministers were earlier screened and cleared by the Senate.
The portfolios of the new ministers had not been announced as of the time this report was filed.
