Akure: Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa has appointed a fresh batch of Special Advisers and Senior Special Assistants (SSAs) as part of efforts to strengthen governance and drive policy implementation.
The appointments, announced on Friday, signal a renewed push to consolidate administrative efficiency and deepen engagement across key sectors of the state.
This is contained in a statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Ebenezer Adeniyan, on Saturday in Akure.
The special advisers are: Mr Olugbenga Omole, Transport; Comrade Gani Mohammed, Special Duties and Strategy; Mr Allen Sowore, Communication and Strategy; and Dr Summy Francis, Entrepreneurship and Innovation.
Others are: Dr Tunji Rhema, Environment; Mrs Kikelomo Ikuomola, Public Affairs and Inter-Governmental Relations; Mr Wale Aladenusi, Marine and Blue Economy; Mr Kolawole Babatunde, Legislative and Party Affairs; and Mr Igbekele Akinrinwa, Local Government Affairs.
The governor also appointed Mr Razaq Obe as the Director-General of the Performance and Project Implementation Monitoring Unit (PPIMU).
The senior special assistants appointed are Mr Ladi Okuniga, Print Media; Mr Tayo Oluyi, Technical Education; Mr Debo Akinbami, Strategic Communication; Mr Gbologe Alex, Community Engagement (South); Mr Obayan Ayodeji, Community Engagement (North); and Mr Samson Job Bazuaye, Oil and Gas.
They include: Mrs Funke Ehuwa, Religion(Christianity ); Mr Tope Liberty, Special Interest; Mr Abayomi Oyekan, Signage; Mr Augustine Ikuejamoye, Revenue and Tax; Mr Tunde Akinyelure, Mobilisation; Mr Shola Akindolie, Education; and Mr Ralph Akinsanmi, Mobilisation.
Others are: Mr Makinde Adu, Pension and Insurance; Mr Babalayo Olutayo, Legal Services; Mr Mayowa Adewolu, Mobilisation; Mr Akinsanmi Ibukun Raphael, Mobilisation; Mrs Yeye Oge Funmilola Oluwadare, Mobilisation; Alhaja Sikirat Idera, Religion ( Islam); and Mrs Olubunmi Adekunle, Event Management.
Mr Sam Bolala was appointed as Special Assistant to the Director of Environmental Health.
Those appointed as members of the Ondo State Law Commission are: Mr Femi Okunjemiruwa, Chairman; Mr Rotimi Omosua, Member (North); and Raymond Olaleye Ogunmoyero, Member (Central).
Others are: Mr Oladehingbe Sunday, Member (Central) and Mr Tope Olajube, Member (North)
The governor tasked the new appointees to deploy their wealth of experience and best efforts towards implementing the ‘OUR EASE agenda’ of the administration.
