2025 FIFA Best Awards: Dembélé, Bonmatí Claim Top Honours in Doha

Abuja: The global football community converged on Doha, Qatar, on Tuesday night as FIFA staged the 2025 edition of The Best Awards, celebrating outstanding performers in the sport.

Paris Saint-Germain winger Ousmane Dembele won the Best FIFA Men’s Player award, while Barcelona midfielder Aitana Bonmati claimed the Best FIFA Women’s Player honour for a third consecutive year.

England’s Lionesses also had a successful outing, with Sarina Wiegman named Best FIFA Women’s Coach and Hannah Hampton named Best FIFA Women’s Goalkeeper.

Paris Saint-Germain’s Champions League-winning manager, Luis Enrique, was crowned Best FIFA Men’s Coach.

Argentina’s Santiago Montiel won the FIFA Puskas Award, while Mexico’s Lizbeth Ovalle claimed the FIFA Marta Award for her spectacular reverse scorpion kick.
