The Permanent Secretary, State House, Mr Temitope Fashola, said the State House reported 99.99 per cent performance in the 2025 overhead budget.
Fashemi said this on Wednesday while defending the 2025 budget performance and 2026 proposals before the Senate Committee on Special Duties at the National Assembly Complex, Abuja.
“I want to personally thank you all for the opportunity. Thank you for letting me defend the 2026 State House budget and review our 2025 performance.
On behalf of President Bola Tinubu, Vice President Kashim Shettima, and the State House management, he expressed appreciation to the committee, adding that the State House covers seven cost centres, including the offices of the President and Vice-President, the Chief of Staff, the Chief Security Officer, the Medical Centre, the Lagos Office, and the Operations Headquarters.
He said the overhead budget performance was commendable across all cost centres, emphasising the effectiveness of the allocations. He said, “For 2025 overhead, the sum of N21.348 billion was appropriated, and practically all was released. ” Over the 2025 overhead budget.”
He said the 2025 capital budget stood at about N46.9 billion. Additionally, he stated that the 2025 capital budget had the authority to incur expenditure of about 30 per cent on the capital allocation.
He, however, said that the State. However, he noted that, at the time of the budget defence, the State House had not been able to access any of the capital funds.
