He noted that resilience in the face of adversity and readiness to respond swiftly to threats are critical attributes for sustaining operational effectiveness.
The CAS underscored the importance of discipline, continuous training, and adaptability, stressing that the Air Force must remain a dependable pillar in safeguarding Nigeria’s sovereignty. He urged personnel to uphold the highest standards of professionalism while embracing innovation and collaboration to meet the complex challenges of today’s security environment.
Aneke further highlighted the need for unity of purpose, reminding officers that their role extends beyond combat to include humanitarian support and fostering public confidence in the military. He reiterated that the Air Force’s credibility rests on its ability to deliver results consistently, even under pressure.
The Chief of the Air Staff also pointed to the changing nature of threats facing Nigeria, ranging from insurgency and banditry to emerging technological warfare. He explained that the Air Force must remain agile and responsive, able to adapt to both conventional and unconventional challenges. According to him, resilience is not only about physical endurance but also about cultivating mental strength, strategic foresight, and the ability to innovate under pressure.
He praised the dedication of personnel who have continued to serve in difficult operational environments, noting that their sacrifices have been instrumental in maintaining national security. Aneke assured them that the Air Force’s leadership remains committed to providing the necessary support, training, and resources to enhance their effectiveness.

By calling for resilience and readiness, Aneke reinforced the message that Nigeria’s defence institutions must remain agile, disciplined, and forward-looking.
