Aiyedatiwa Axes Political Aides in Sweeping Ondo Shake-Up

Akure: In a bold move to reset his administration, Ondo State Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa has, with immediate effect, dismissed all Senior Special Assistants (SSAs) and Special Assistants (SAs), aiming to improve efficiency and service delivery within the government.

The Chief Press Secretary, Mr Ebenezer Adeniyan, announced this in a statement on Monday in Akure.

The statement says the move aims to boost efficiency and service.

The statement thanked the dismissed aides for their work and wished them success.

There are indications that the governor plans to appoint about 1,000 new aides from all 203 wards across the state’s 18 local government areas.

It adds that this will improve coordination and add new capacity.
