Atiku: My Presidential Bid Is a Movement, Not Just an Ambition

Abuja—Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has launched his presidential bid under the African Democratic Congress (ADC), declaring it a bold movement to restore Nigeria’s unity and prosperity.

This is contained in a statement obtained from his verified X handle on Thursday in Abuja, following the submission of his nomination and expression of interest forms.

Abubakar said that with the submission of the forms, his march to restoring prosperity and better days to Nigeria had taken a firm and decisive step forward.

“The march to restore prosperity and better days to our beloved nation took a firm and decisive step forward today.

“This is more than a political journey; it is a national movement rooted in hope, renewal and the collective resolve to save Nigeria from despair.

“I call on all Nigerians, regardless of region, faith or background, to join us in this noble cause.

“Together, we will restore the promise of our nation and bring good times back again,” he said.

Abubakar called on all Nigerians to unite in the effort to restore the country’s pride.
