Abuja: President Bola Tinubu has appointed Alhaji Ibrahim Masari as Special Adviser on Political Affairs.
This appointment was disclosed by Presidential Spokesperson Mr Bayo Onanuga, who issued a statement in Abuja on Thursday.
Masari was previously appointed by Tinubu as Senior Special Assistant on Political Affairs in 2023, before this new appointment as Special Adviser.
A Katsina-born politician, Masari previously served as Welfare Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) during the tenure of former party chairman Adams Oshiomhole.
Masari will work alongside Alhaji Yau Darazo, who joined the President’s advisory team following his appointment in July 2023, in his new role as Special Adviser.
