Abuja: Adekunle Gold sets the music scene abuzz with ‘Fuji Xtra’—a 20-track deluxe edition that not only expands his acclaimed sixth album but also delivers a historic first-ever collaboration with Olamide.
The “Orente” crooner released the deluxe on Friday across all major streaming platforms—Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube Music.
The five new tracks are: ‘Formation’ with Olamide, ‘Shake Shake’ featuring TML Vibez, ‘Blue Fire’ with Simi, and two solo cuts—‘Life of the Faaji’ and ‘I Got Wiser On My Own.’
‘Formation’ is a milestone—uniting Adekunle Gold and Olamide on a track for the first time, despite years of parallel success.
Gold joined Olamide’s YBNL Nation in 2015, a year after his viral debut single ‘Sade.’
Besides the deluxe release, the singer has announced a live orchestral experience built around the project’s sound, though details on dates and venues are yet to be confirmed.
