House of Dynamite Leads Netflix Nigeria Movie Chart

Lagos:  House of Dynamite has exploded to the top of Netflix’s movie chart in Nigeria, becoming the most-watched title in the country this week.

The action-packed thriller has captivated audiences with its gripping storyline and high-octane performances, reflecting the growing appetite for locally resonant content on global streaming platforms.

‘Farmer’s Bride’, a movie about a woman seeking a way out of a loveless marriage, secured second place on the chart.

The movie was praised for its suspenseful storytelling, emotional depth, themes of trust, betrayal and survival.

In third place is ‘The Elixir‘, a movie about a family that must put their strained relationship behind them to survive a zombie plague. ‘They Call Him OG’, a film about a man who is forced into trouble to help those around him, came in fourth.

Drama took centre stage in fifth with ‘Thinline‘, a story about a respected Pastor’s secret affair with a sex worker, which spirals out of control and ‘Attack 13’, a horror drama about a lady who hunts a school after being murdered, came in sixth on the chart.

Action comedy drama ‘The Waiter’ landed seventh, exploring an ordinary man’s determination to resolve a hostage situation and ‘A Quiet Place Part 2’ placed eighth, adding intrigue to the week’s list.

In ninth position is ‘Ballad of A Small Player‘, a drama of a high-rolling down-on-his-luck gambler who is looking for his successive big win, while ‘Vash Level 2’, a horror movie, rounds off the top 10.
