Ibadan: Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has dismissed the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Prof. Olanike Adeyemo, and appointed Prof. Musibau Babatunde as her replacement with immediate effect.
A statement issued on Monday by the governor’s Special Adviser on Media, Dr. Sulaimon Olanrewaju, also announced further changes in the cabinet.
Mr. Seun Ashamu was redeployed from the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources to the Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning.
Makinde additionally named his Senior Special Assistant on Public Works, Ademola Aderinto, as a commissioner-designate, to be presented to the Oyo State House of Assembly for screening.
Other appointments include Mr. Abiodun Adedoja as Special Adviser on Energy Security and Mr. Kolawole Akanmu as Senior Special Assistant on Budget and Economic Planning.
