A man has been found dead days after he allegedly learnt that the four children he had been raising with his wife were not his biological offspring, sparking grief and debate among social media users.
Details indicate that the late Benjamin Offei had been married for nine years, following a decade-long relationship with his wife.
According to a Facebook post by a user identified as Bmm Swerdna, Offei contacted him shortly before his death.
He explained that he was distraught after discovering the results of a DNA test that reportedly showed none of the four children were biologically his.
The friend said Offei broke down during the call as he tried to process the revelation.
News of Offei’s death, which the post claimed occurred at his home in Copenhagen, spread rapidly on social media.
It drew an outpouring of condolences alongside differing opinions on trust, marriage and the emotional toll of paternity disputes.
