Abeokuta (Nigeria): Ogun governor and Chairman of the Southern Governors’ Forum, Mr Dapo Abiodun, praised the All Progressives Congress (APC) for its strong showing in the Area Council elections in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.
In a statement issued in Abeokuta on Sunday, Abiodun called the APC’s results a clear endorsement of President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
He stated that the party’s strong showing reflected broad acceptance among Nigerians.
Abiodun congratulated President Bola Tinubu, the APC Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, and the APC candidates in the elections on their successful outing.
He noted that the party’s superlative performance at the polls remained a precursor to its impending victory in the 2027 general elections.
“No doubt, “No doubt, the outcome of the area council polls at the FCT clearly shows Nigerians are aligned with President Bola Tinubu and the APC for the 2027 general election. The majority of Nigerians know that, with APC at the helm, Nigeria’s future is in safe hands.
“I congratulate President Bola Tinubu and the leadership of our great party, the APC, on this remarkable outing, which is a pointer to our victory in 2027,”he said.
