The White House has released President Donald Trump’s latest medical report, with his physician, Sean Barbabella, stating the 79‑year‑old leader “appears to be in excellent health.”
In a three‑page memo issued Friday, May 29, Barbabella noted Trump scored a perfect 30 out of 30 on a cognitive assessment and continues to show strong cardiac, pulmonary, neurological, and overall physical function. “Cognitive and physical performance are excellent. He is fully fit to carry out all duties of the Commander‑in‑Chief and Head of State,” the U.S. Navy veteran wrote.
The report listed Trump’s height at 6 feet 3 inches and his weight at 238 pounds. While praising his fitness, Barbabella recommended more exercise, a cleaner diet, and preventive measures, including low‑dose aspirin and continued weight loss.
The memo also addressed Trump’s chronic venous insufficiency, a condition causing lower‑leg swelling, which has shown improvement since last year. His neurological exam was normal, and an AI‑enhanced electrocardiogram suggested his “cardiac age” is 14 years younger than his actual age.
Frequent bruising on Trump’s hands was attributed to minor soft tissue irritation from handshaking combined with aspirin use. Barbabella emphasised that this was a benign side effect of cardiovascular prevention therapy, with no suspicious lesions or growths detected.
Despite minor issues, the overall conclusion was clear: Trump appears to be in excellent health and remains fully capable of fulfilling his presidential duties.
