Bauchi PDP Secretariat Chaos: Police Nab Two over Conspiracy, Mischief

The Bauchi State Police Command has arrested two people suspected of criminal conspiracy and mischief at the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) secretariat. Authorities say this is part of their effort to stop political thuggery.

The suspects have been moved to the Violent Crime Response Unit (VCRU) for further investigation. Police say they will be charged in court after the investigation is finished.

Commissioner of Police, CP Sani-Omolori Aliyu, warned against actions that could disturb public peace or damage property, especially during political events. He said the police will not allow violence or intimidation in the state’s politics.

Aliyu told residents that the police are committed to keeping everyone safe and protecting property.

He asked people to stay calm, follow the law, and report any suspicious activity to the nearest police station.

These arrests, which happened during a tense political period, show that Bauchi authorities want to stop troublemakers and keep the peace before upcoming political events.
