Anambra, Nigeria: Governor Chukwuma Soludo has reaffirmed his commitment to inclusive development in Anambra State, declaring that “no one is left behind” as his administration intensifies investments in education, healthcare, and infrastructure.

Soludo made the commitment on Saturday during the inauguration of the Enugu-Otu Aguleri General Hospital in Anambra East Local Government Area.

The governor also inspected an ongoing road project and inaugurated a primary school built by the community and donated to the state government.

He said education and healthcare remain central to his efforts, stressing that no society can progress without an educated population and a healthy workforce.

Soludo recalled being distressed at the start of his tenure, as residents travelled long distances to access healthcare due to the community’s neglect.

He said his promise to the people has now been fulfilled with a hospital, school, improved water scheme and an access road delivered to the community.

“Our commitment remains: ‘One State, One People and One Agenda,’ where no one is left behind,” the Governor said.

Mr Ifeanyi Chinweze, Chairman of Anambra East LGA, noted that vehicles could not access the community during rainy seasons before the new road construction.

Chinweze thanked the Governor for linking Aguleri Mainland and Aguleri Island and pledged the communities’ continued support for the administration.
