Lagos: ISAGT Sports Academy on Wednesday defeated Dosu Joseph FC 2-1 in a group stage match of the ongoing 2025 1xBet football tournament.
The thrilling Group C encounter was played at the Inspire Arena Stadium, Cappa, Oshodi, Lagos.
Matiti Ibrahim opened the scoring for ISAGT in the 11th minute, but the opponent equalised from the penalty spot to set the score at 1—1 at halftime.
ISAGT FC dominated the second half, and their determination paid off as they scored the winning goal through Idris Esho in the 48th minute.
Dosu Joseph FC made efforts to score another goal against their opponent, but could not break into ISAGT FC’s rock-solid defence,leaving the final score at 2—1.
The win marks ISAGT Sporting Academy’s progress in the tournament, while Dosu FC will regroup and prepare hard for their next match.
