Abuja, Nigeria: From October 3–5, Bayelsa State will welcome Nigeria’s top bodybuilders, physique athletes, and fitness models for the Amateur Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation Nigeria (ABBFN) Ultimate Night of Champions.
The event is being held under the patronage of Governor Douye Diri.
Organisers said over N2 million in cash prizes and consolation awards would be won during the competition.
Mr Elekima Soye, President of ABBFN, disclosed to journalists on Saturday that the event would serve as a qualifier for the IFBB Mr Universe Championship, scheduled for October 11 in Lagos.
He added that top Nigerian bodybuilders, physique athletes, bikini, and fit models would compete at the Yenagoa event.
Elekima appealed to the public and private sectors, corporate organisations, philanthropists, and individuals to sponsor or partner with the event.
He also called on exhibitors and potential sponsors to contact the organisers promptly.
