Abuja: The Federal Government has unveiled the Nigeria House in Davos ahead of the 56th World Economic Forum, positioning it as a hub to spotlight economic reforms and court global investors.
The WEF 2026 meeting is scheduled to be held from Jan. 19 to Jan. 23 in Davos, Switzerland.
This is contained in a statement issued by Mr Abiodun Oladunjoye, Director, Information and Public Relations, State House, Abuja, on Friday.
Nigeria House Davos marks Nigeria’s first official National House on the Davos Promenade.
The initiative provides a strategic platform to project Nigeria’s economic reforms, investment readiness, institutional strength and cultural identity to global stakeholders.
It is designed to boost foreign direct investment, deepen strategic partnerships and advance Nigeria’s global economic positioning under the Renewed Hope Agenda.
Nigeria House Davos is structured under a Public–Private Partnership framework, involving relevant ministries and private-sector partners.
Participating Ministries include Industry, Trade and Investment; Finance; and Foreign Affairs, while Eviola and Co Integrated Services Ltd serves as Lead Coordinating and Executing Organisation.
The structure blends public-sector leadership with private-sector execution to ensure credible, professional national representation.
Nigeria House Davos will serve as a sovereign convening platform for ministerial engagements, policy dialogues, investment meetings and cultural diplomacy.
Its five-day programme will cover solid minerals, trade infrastructure, agriculture, climate investment, energy sustainability, digital trade, technology and the creative economy.
Finance, legislation, investment security and investor assurance will be integrated across all discussions.
The Presidency said leading nations have long leveraged Davos Houses for economic diplomacy and global influence.
With Nigeria House Davos, Nigeria joins this league, presenting its narrative directly and positioning itself as a reform-driven investment destination.
The presidency encouraged participation by public institutions, private-sector players, development finance institutions, and international partners.
It said Nigeria House Davos reflected Nigeria’s confidence, ambition and readiness to engage the global economy.
