Abuja: President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the posting of four ambassadors-designate from the 68 nominees earlier confirmed by the Senate.
The approvals were conveyed in a statement issued by the Presidential Spokesperson, Mr Bayo Onanuga, on Thursday in Abuja.
Ayodele Oke is appointed as ambassador-designate to France, Lateef Are to the United States, Amb. Amin Dalhatu to the United Kingdom, and Usman Isa Dakingari Suleiman to Turkey.
Lateef Are will serve as ambassador-designate to the United States.
Tinubu also confirmed the posting of Amb. Amin Dalhatu, former envoy to South Korea, is the high commissioner-designate to the United Kingdom.
Usman Isa Dakingari Suleiman, former Kebbi governor, is ambassador-designate to Turkey.
The President is scheduled to undertake a state visit to Turkey next week.
In a memo to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Tinubu directed the ministry to formally notify the governments of the four countries, in line with established diplomatic procedure.
