Kachia (Kaduna State): The General Officer Commanding 1 Division and Commander, Sector 1 Joint Task Force North-West Operation FANSAN YAMMA Major-General Abubakar Wase has reassured troops of his resolve to ensure their welfare and sound administration in the field.
The new GOC stated this during his visit to the Joint Task Force North-West Operation Fansan Yamma, Sub-Sector 5 troops at the Forward Operating Base Kachia on Tuesday.
He urged them to uphold the principles of force protection, shun unmilitary practices and embrace the ethics of military professionalism.
The GOC was also at the Nigerian Navy School of Armament Technology and the Maritime component of Operation FANSAN YAMMA, where he solicited cooperation and synergy in achieving success in the ongoing operation.
Earlier in a remark, the Commandant, Commodore Aminu Chikaji, highlighted the school’s role in training Nigerian Navy personnel in Joint Operations, including Fasan Yamma and Fushin Kada, among others.
Highlights of the visit included briefings and tree planting, among other activities.
