Abuja: The Chairman of the Military Pensions Board (MPB), Air Vice Marshal Mikail Abdulraheem, has pledged to fast‑track pension administration and strengthen transparency for military retirees, assuring that payment delays will be eliminated.
Speaking in Abuja, Abdulraheem said the board is committed to modernising its processes to ensure prompt disbursement and accountability.
He noted that the welfare of retired military personnel remains a top priority, stressing that efficient pension management is central to honouring their service and sacrifice.
The MPB chairman explained that reforms underway will enhance trust in the system, reduce bottlenecks, and guarantee timely access to entitlements.
He added that the board is working to integrate technology into its operations to improve efficiency and transparency.
Abdulraheem reaffirmed that the board will continue to engage with stakeholders to address concerns and strengthen confidence among retirees.
