Awka: Nigeria is making steady strides toward national progress under President Bola Tinubu, according to Prof. Joseph Ugboaja, Coordinator of Renewed Hope Ambassadors (RHA) in Anambra South Senatorial District. Despite ongoing challenges, Ugboaja expressed optimism about the country’s direction during the inauguration of the RHA Orumba North chapter.
Ugboaja made the assertion during the inauguration of the RHA Orumba North Local Government Area chapter on Saturday at Oko community in Anambra.
The coordinator, who is also the Chief Medical Director of Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital, Nnewi, encouraged residents of Orumba North to support the administration and its re-election bid.
He said the Federal Government had reported achievements in sectors such as infrastructure, the economy, health, and education.
According to him, the administration has implemented economic reforms, including currency stabilisation measures and the deregulation of the petroleum sector, alongside extensive road construction and rehabilitation across the country.
Ugboaja also noted improvements in the health sector, especially at the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital in Nnewi.
He further commended the introduction of the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), which he said provided interest-free loans to students to support their education.
According to Ugboaja, the President has introduced policies aimed at economic and social advancement.
He noted that while Nigeria’s path to development remains challenging, several indicators suggest progress is being made.
He urged the newly inaugurated executives to mobilise grassroots support for the administration and to spread the message of hope among the people.
“I appeal to you to remain steadfast and committed to achieving the mandate. Necessary support will be provided to ensure success,” he added.
Also speaking, the RHA Coordinator in Orumba North, Chief Handel Okoli, enumerated what he described as the achievements of the Tinubu administration.
Okoli said the ongoing development in Anambra, particularly in Orumba North and its environs, was largely due to the Federal Government’s support.
