Abeokuta: The Ogun State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board (OGMPWB) has announced that Wednesday, January 28, will be the final deadline for the payment of Hajj fares and completion of registration for the 2026 pilgrimage.
Executive Secretary Ajibola Taiwo emphasized that the deadline is binding and will be strictly enforced, urging all intending pilgrims to promptly obtain, complete, and submit their forms to ensure timely processing.
This is contained in a statement in Abeokuta on Wednesday by the Board’s Executive Secretary, Mr Ajibola Taiwo.
Taiwo noted that the total Hajj fare was pegged at N7.9 million.
He gave the breakdown of the registration processing fees as follows: Application Form, N20,050; Screening Form, N2,550; Medical Fitness Certificate, N2,550; and Medical Screening, N20,050.
He said that the total cost of the registration /processing fee amounts to N45,200.
The executive secretary urged all intending pilgrims to promptly obtain, complete, and submit their forms to ensure timely processing.
He advised prospective pilgrims who required more clarifications to visit the Board’s office at Block B, Governor’s Office, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta.
