Garaku: Member of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, representing Kokona East Constituency, Mr Daniel Ogazi, has distributed 21 motorcycles, 20 sewing machines, and a car to his constituents.
Ogazi also distributed N50,000 to each beneficiary of the sewing machines as a start-up initiative to alleviate their sufferings.
This, he said, was to improve their standard of living.
Ogazi, Chairman of the House Committee on Rules and Business, made the distribution on Saturday in Garaku, Kokona LGA.
He stated that the gesture was part of his ongoing commitment to enhancing the well-being of his people.
Ogazi assured the people of his constituency of sound and quality representation.
” By the Special Grace of God, I will continue to initiate good policies and programmes that will change your lives positively.
” You are all aware that I have touched your lives positively through my various intervention projects.
” I want to assure you that I will continue to put a smile on the faces of my people,” he said.
The lawmaker challenged leaders in the country to take deliberate actions to implement policies and programmes that would alleviate the plights of Nigerians.
” I want to call on leaders in the country to initiate interventions that have a human face,” he added.
Ogazi called on members of his constituency who have not benefited from his infrastructural and intervention projects to exercise patience.
He further vowed to touch every household in Kokona East constituency before the end of his tenure.
Some stakeholders who spoke at the event included the Chairman of Kokona Local Government, Mr Mek Agbawu, and his predecessor, Mr Awwalu Adamu, who is also the Special Adviser to Governor Abdullahi Sule, among others.
They all appreciated Ogazi for consistently rolling out people-driven projects and pledged their support at all times.
Responding on behalf of the beneficiaries, the Village Head of Sabon Gida, Mr Bako Maikeffi, who was given a car at the event, commended Ogazi for always putting smiles on the faces of his constituents.
