Jandor Says Fubara Politically Safe Despite APC Impeachment Threats

by TheDiggerNews

Lagos: Dr. Abdul‑Azeez Adediran, popularly known as Jandor, has assured that Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, remains politically secure despite renewed impeachment threats within the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Speaking on the political tension in Rivers, Jandor emphasized that the governor’s position is not under immediate danger, noting that internal manoeuvres within the APC would not undermine Fubara’s standing.

He described the impeachment talk as political noise that poses no real risk to the governor.

Jandor’s remarks come amid heightened speculation over Rivers’ politics, where disagreements among party stakeholders have fueled concerns about stability.

He urged party members and residents to remain calm, stressing that Fubara retains strong political backing and remains firmly positioned to deliver on his mandate.

The assurance is intended to ease anxieties among supporters and reinforce confidence in the governor’s political safety as Rivers navigates complex intra‑party dynamics ahead of the 2027 elections.
